Genealogy Research at Raeford-Hoke Museum
The Raeford-Hoke Museum Genealogy Room, located in the Parker-Ray House, is filled with research materials for those interested in finding out more about their Raeford-Hoke ancestors (or for those who simply enjoy learning more about the lives of those who lived in Raeford-Hoke years ago). There is no charge for use of the genealogy materials! Please stop on by during regular business hours or contact the museum to make an appointment. You never know who or what you will find hiding in the pages of these wonderful reference materials.
Further Research
Thanks to Neil Ray of Fayetteville for recommending links to the NC GenWeb Project. The NC GenWeb Project is part of the US GenWeb Project, a network of volunteers working to provide genealogical and historical content for each of North Carolina's 100 counties. Being that Hoke County was formed form parts of Cumberland and Robeson Counties in 1911, this information will be most helpful in research dating before that time.
